Hagita is a very calm and collected person. He often acts a bit strange but is oblivious to this fact and is very strong willed. Hagita is the one who breaks Kakeru's bike so he can't ride it into the road to hurt himself. He's determined and caring underneath his quiet demeanor. He's often teased by Azusa, and is in love with her. He and Azusa start dating by the end of the series.
